Challenge
Varinka Bouma is a couples therapist and coach – a profession that revolves around safety, trust and connection. Her existing website didn’t exude that. The design was built in Divi with a busy color palette of red, pink and gold, lots of running text and a visual style that was more reminiscent of a motivational coach than a therapist. The content also no longer matched her current offerings. Varinka knew something needed to change, but had no clear idea of how to go about it.

Solution
The project began with the basics: the logo. The original version had a disjointed color palette that did not support the tranquility and warmth of Varinka’s work. Together, we came up with a new logo – the same recognizable heart, but now in a calm gold combined with a warm blue-green. That color palette is the foundation of the entire website.
The website was completely rebuilt in WordPress with Bricks Builder – from structure to design. The page layout is clear and uncluttered: About Me, Relationship Therapy, Rates, Blog and an Introduction page with an integrated Calendly calendar, allowing visitors to schedule an appointment immediately without an additional barrier. In addition to the design, the SEO foundation was laid and the texts were thought along to effectively communicate towards couples seeking help.

Result
A website that feels like Varinka’s work: calm, personal and inviting. The visual chaos of the old site has given way to a clear look that inspires confidence – exactly what visitors need at the moment they are considering seeking help for their relationship. Varinka herself describes the collaboration as smooth and stress-free, with quick delivery and good advice on both design and SEO.
